Raphael Miles began his career as a youth singing in church. He debuted with the gospel sounds of the Holloway Community Singers.
As he evolved as a vocalist, he received inspiration via his aunt's singing group.
By observing their harmonious style, he was afforded the opportunity to fine-tune his own vocals... and the rest as they say, is history.
Raphael's other musical inspirations include legends such as Stevie Wonder, Sammie Davis Jr, Phillip Bailey (lead vocalist of Earth, Wind & Fire) and of course The Temptations.
As he began to further his career, he formulated two singing groups, "The Keys of Love" and later "The Presidents Council Band".
These groups toured  cross country for a five year span, sharing the stage with such greats acts as Lolita Holloway, the Saul Soul Orchestra, Brass Construction, CJ and Company, Enchantment, The Emotions, and Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes.
Raphael returned home and began performing with the group "Heaven and Earth" as percussionist and background vocalist.
Touring with this group gave him an opportunity to share the stage with George Clinton, The O'jays, Don Cornelieus, Linda Clifford, Main Ingredient, Blue Magic and Peabo Bryson.
Raphael then began to perform as an independant artist which projected him into the corporate entertainment arena.
His recent singing achievements allowed him to use his acting and singing ability as one of the "Sultry Singing Men of Soul" a musical production where he used his talents to bring to life the legendary sounds of Marvin Gaye.

Orlandus Thomas was born in Ruleville,MS, and raised on Chicago’s far south side. Although he is one of the newest (and youngest) member of The Voices, he has been mesmerizing audiences with his high-impact energy stage presence and smooth voice for almost 20 years. Orlandus started singing in church at the age of 8, and started performing professionally at the age of 14.Throughout high school, he performed in several groups, as well as show choir, where he honed his performing skills. By age 18, he had performed in many local talent shows, where he was discovered by Verda Rogers of Switchgear Entertainment (formerly known as Elegant Image Productions). Though her management and guidance, Orlandus won talent shows out of Chicago that lead to performing at The Apollo Theater, as well as the Pre-Grammy Galas in New York and Los Angeles. Orlandus’ range of talents have stretched into the amusement park arena, where at age 19, he was one of the original cast members of Six Flags Great America’s first ever hip hop stage show during the spring/summer of 1995. While on a music scholarship at Millikin University, Orlandus continued to perform at many local venues in Central Illinois, such as the Back to School Jam in Champaign, and The Decatur Celebration, one of Illinois’ largest summer festivals. It wasn’t until Orlandus was 22 when he connected with Dwight(T-Bone) Smith, and Ajacks Music Mania, an already established Motown Revue band, that his career shifted gears into the live band experience. It was in this 9-year experience that he not only honed his skills with a live band, but met and performed with current Voices member Raphael Miles. During their tenure with Ajacks, Orlandus performed at many venues, such as Navy Pier, The Excalibur, and The 300 Club at the Milwaukee Brewers Stadium, the numerous country clubs, festivals, and corporate events throughout the Midwest. Orlandus has also performed for many celebrities, such as Roger Ebert, Jay Levine, Mary Ann Childers, Bruce Weber, NBC,Coca-Cola, Walter Jacobson, and the Chicago Film Festivals, where honored guests that he has entertained include Robin Williams and Steven Spielberg. He has written and produced for many local Chicagoland artists in the R&B genre. Orlandus has continued to be an artist in demand with several local R&B groups, and can be found performing at both large venues, as well as local events and Stepper’s Sets. Because of the use of his God-Given talents wisely, he has successfully maintained longevity in the music industry, and continues to mentor young, up and coming artists. He is a unique blend of “old school showmanship and new school energy”. His smooth moves, constant energy, and silky baritone/tenor voice are what make this “complete performer” a crowd favorite.
