The Voices, five talented vocalist; Mike Hampton, Raphael Miles, Terrence Chatman, Orlandus Thomas, and Isaac Wooten have come together , with more than 25 years of collective performance experience to create one of the hottest... if not "The Hottest"
vocal groups in the Chicago land area, in fact this past October of 08 "The Voices" were nominated and received the 2007-2008 Black Excellence Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music in the R&B category.
As a group their recent performances have electrified audiences to the tune of standing ovations after every performance which got them the title of "Number 1 Motown and R&B Tribute Group."
As individual artist, all of them have toured all over the country, sharing stages with national and international acts.
Steve Baskerville, meteorologist for CBS News in Chicago, attended one of their latest performances and said....This group is phenomenal. It is not often that you find this type of rare talent..... they are certainly a class act."
Their "Tribute to Motown" performance is second to none, and really know how to spice up the show with their collection of R&B hits.
